Editor's Note:

For BYD, the success of the Denza D9 has greatly bolstered the brand's confidence in developing MPV models. With the release of the BYD Xia, the company aims to introduce a model positioned differently from the Denza D9. expanding the audience for its MPV offerings.

There are several key areas of interest with the BYD Xia. First is the application of the fifth-generation DM technology in this model, with its low fuel consumption when out of power potentially setting new industry standards. The second is the vehicle’s intelligent driving system. As a model priced around 300.000 RMB, the BYD Xia is likely to feature BYD’s advanced "Eye of the God" intelligent driving system. Will it become the first BYD MPV to be equipped with LiDAR? We’ll have to wait and see.
