Seven Xpeng P7 Tips That Many Owners Don’t Know About

1. Auto-Unlock Doors When Parking

When you shift to P (Park) while parking, all doors can be automatically unlocked. To enable this feature, go to ‘Vehicle Settings’ and turn on ‘Auto Lock/Unlock.’

2. Scheduled Charging

You can schedule your vehicle to charge during off-peak hours at night. Tap the charging icon on the top right corner of the main screen, then enable the scheduled charging function. Use the “-”/“+” buttons to set your preferred charging time.

3. Automatic OTA Updates

In the OTA update interface, you can select the option to ‘Automatically Update System and Apps at Night.’ Once enabled, any new version updates will automatically start at 3:00 AM the next day. Before the upgrade, users will receive a notification via the Xpeng app.

4. Auto-Hold System

This feature is ideal for short stops, so you don’t have to keep pressing the brake pedal. When the vehicle stops, press the brake pedal firmly, and the system will automatically hold the brakes to keep the vehicle stationary. The system will automatically release when you press the accelerator to drive away.
