NIO Delivers 200.000th ES6. Starting Price Set at 338.000 Yuan

Recently, NIO officially announced the delivery of its 200.000th ES6 model. Notably, as of April 2023. the first-generation NIO ES6 had delivered over 127.000 units. The second-generation NIO ES6 achieved sales of over 73.000 units within one year of its launch. The 2024 NIO ES6. launched in February of this year, is priced between 338.000 and 396.000 yuan.

The NIO ES6 features the brand's new family-style design, with a lidar-like device positioned above the front end, complemented by cameras on both sides, creating a "watchtower" design. This design is consistent with the new NIO ES8 and ET7 models, indicating that it is equipped with NIO's Aquila super-sensing system. While the overall contour of the front end is similar to the previous generation, the detailed design has been updated. The split headlights and slender strip-shaped daytime running lights effectively distinguish the new model from its predecessor.

In terms of dimensions, the new ES6 measures 4.854 mm in length, 1.995 mm in width, and 1.703 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2.915 mm. The vehicle offers various wheel designs, including 20-inch and 21-inch options.

The interior of the new model adopts the "second living room" design concept, characterized by refined simplicity and a warm atmosphere. The 1.995 mm width provides superior lateral space inside the cabin, enhancing comfort for both front and rear passengers. The trunk offers a three-layer storage design, catering to different travel needs.

A key highlight of the 2024 NIO ES6 is the introduction of the new central computing platform, ADAM, which incorporates Qualcomm's fourth-generation Snapdragon cockpit chip (8295 chip).

In terms of performance, the NIO ES6 is equipped with dual motors, one on the front with a maximum output of 150 kW, and one on the rear with a maximum output of 210 kW, delivering a combined torque of 700 N·m. Depending on the configuration, battery options include 75 kWh and 100 kWh packs, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 490 km, 500 km, or 625 km.
