Before buying the NIO ES6. I hesitated for quite a while, but in the end, I made up my mind to go for it. Looking back now, it was definitely the right decision as the car has not disappointed me.
One of the key reasons is that I absolutely love its appearance. The car has high aesthetic appeal and looks quite imposing.
The original tires of the NIO ES6 were decent, but I always felt that the driving experience was somewhat lacking, and the noise level was quite high. Later, I heard that major brands like Michelin and Goodyear had developed tires specifically for electric vehicles, so I started to explore my options. Eventually, I chose a set of Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tires. After switching to the Goodyear tires, the car became much quieter, and the driving experience improved significantly. The technology behind the tread design of these Goodyear tires is impressive, providing excellent grip. In emergency situations, the car stops quickly when the brakes are applied, and the handling feels great, giving a strong sense of safety.
The interior of the car is simple and elegant, yet full of technological features, which is truly impressive. The large screen is incredible, and the panoramic sunroof provides great lighting inside the car, making it very comfortable to sit in. Additionally, the ambient lighting inside the car is very nice, giving it a homely feel. The most remarkable thing is that there are no strange smells or noises inside the car, making it both comfortable and reassuring.
This car is really good; it's very convenient to get in and out of the front seats, and they are comfortable to sit in. The rear seat space is also quite large, accommodating three adults without feeling cramped. Although it's the sports version without air suspension, which makes it a bit bumpy on uneven roads, I find this to be a non-issue for my daily use. Besides, the seats are quite spacious, so overall, it's still very comfortable to sit in.
The steering of the car is quite precise, making it feel similar to driving a smaller car. However, the car is a bit large, making it somewhat challenging to maneuver when reversing. But the brakes are very responsive, reacting even with a light touch. The chassis feels a bit stiff, different from the American cars I used to drive, and it's quite noticeable when going over speed bumps. Nevertheless, overall, this car is quite good and very suitable for family use.
