I went to test drive the Xiaomi SU7. While I was at the store, I wanted to interview the first batch of owners who were picking up their cars today. However, when I approached a person in charge at the store, they were somewhat aloof and basically told me that, unfortunately, they couldn't allow any filming today.
They also mentioned that there were privacy concerns for the car owners. I responded that it was fine and that I would communicate with the owners myself. However, they said it wasn't convenient since they were just in sales and not responsible for deliveries, which made the situation a bit awkward.
In reality, some staff at 4S stores are like this. Some enjoy communicating with the media to help promote the company, but most 4S store employees, especially the management, prefer to avoid unnecessary trouble. They would rather do nothing than make mistakes.
So, from his perspective, he couldn't control the content I would produce. If he agreed to my request and I ended up creating content that didn't align with the official stance, he might be the one held accountable. This is understandable.
