300.000 Yuan Choice: Xiaomi SU7 AWD or Zhijie S7 Long Range RWD?

Interior:

The interior materials of the two cars are quite similar, but their designs are vastly different. The Xiaomi SU7 has a symmetrical steering wheel, while the Zhijie S7 features an elliptical steering wheel and a yacht-style cabin. In terms of interior pricing, the Xiaomi SU7 is cheaper than the Zhijie S7.

Charging Stations:

The Xiaomi SU7’s charging station is significantly cheaper than Huawei's charging station. Xiaomi wins.

Charging Speed:

Both vehicles use an 800V high-voltage architecture. The Xiaomi SU7 charges for 15 minutes and achieves a range of 510 kilometers. The Zhijie S7 charges for 15 minutes and achieves a range of 430 kilometers. According to the summer test by DCT (Dong Che Di), the compatibility of the Zhijie S7’s charging station is slightly worse than that of the Xiaomi SU7. Therefore, Xiaomi wins.

Range:

Both the Xiaomi SU7 and Zhijie S7 participated in DCT’s summer test, but since they were not tested in the same environment, the results are not strictly comparable. However, both had high range achievement rates. Let’s call this one a draw for now.

Performance:

The Xiaomi SU7 AWD, priced at 299.900 yuan, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds. The Zhijie S7 RWD, priced at 299.800 yuan, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. Xiaomi wins.

Conclusion:

The biggest advantage of the Zhijie S7 is its intelligent driving system, though some features require additional payment. In other aspects, whether in optional configuration prices or performance, Xiaomi has a slight edge. Choose the Zhijie S7 if you prioritize intelligent driving; choose the Xiaomi SU7 if you seek higher performance and better configurations.

Editor’s Opinion:

Intelligent driving is the shortcoming of the Xiaomi SU7. but future OTA upgrades might be promising. Given the current situation, intelligent driving technology is not yet fully mature. Having this feature might make people less vigilant, so it might be better to assume it doesn’t have it.
